A PhD grant position is available immediately to study the
risks of pesticides in solitary bees (Osmia spp.) at the Ghent University,
Belgium
The person will work at the Dept. Crop Protection at the
Ghent University (which has a strong position of 69 in the Shanghai’s Academic
World Universities Ranking, and UGent is also the first university in Belgium)
under the supervision of Prof. Guy Smagghe and Prof. Pieter Spanoghe, who have
together a major expertise in wild bees and pesticides, residue analysis and
risk assessment.
